 Home At Last Sanctuary has been called to the aid of a pair of ducks soon to be homeless.

We need help rehoming these two ducks.  Plantain a Pekin male (white) and Pinecone a Khaki Campbell female (brown) and are a bonded and must be homed together.  They are around 4 months old and are not, currently, very social with people and would rather do their own thing together but they are not aggressive whatsoever. They love to eat bananas and bob for peas in their water and they are already used to the coop  (COOP CONVEYS SEE INFORMATION BELOW) that they are currently living in, and will be included with the food that we currently have to whoever wants to adopt them.

Dogs listed here come from different sources Some dog's owner have passed and their family could not care for their companion, some lifestyle has changed and a new home would be in the best interest of their companion. Some are foster dogs placed in our care by different rescue groups.  Each dog may have a different process for adopting animals and charge different adoption fees.

Please complete the Application Short Form (link above)  Your information will be reviewed and you will be advised the next step.  If the dog you applied for is a match based on this information you will asked to provide Additional Information or directed to complete the Adoption Application from the Rescue Group that has placed the companion in our care.

You may be called by a volunteer, you may receive an email asking additional information or you may be requested to complete and Additional Information form. Please look our emails for further information.  We are all volunteers so we will get to you as soon as we can.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions.  We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
