Maggie is a Chihuahua Mix about six months old now and weighs 10 to 11 lbs. She's very social and sweet, but also a very energetic house-trained young pup.
She would do best in an active home with a family who will take her on long walks or runs, or have a fenced in yard where she can run and play and burn off some energy. Her foster mom thinks she would be a great candidate for agility and obstacle courses.
Maggie is fine with children, but still jumps and nips like a puppy and is a little pup, so she would be best in a home with kids out of the toddler stage.
Because of her young age, priority will be given to families who have the time and flexibility to raise a young pup and an active lifestyle. Maggie house-trained, and I now knows tricks like 'high five' and roll over'!

You may be called by a volunteer, you may receive an email asking additional information or you may be requested to complete and Additional Information form. Please look our emails for further information.  We are all volunteers so we will get to you as soon as we can.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions.  We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
