Hello!! My name is Tiger and I'm a sweet and social 5- to 6-year-old Terrier mix who weighs about 40 pounds. I still need to put on a little weight, but my foster mom is working on that.

I lucked out and got a great foster family, and I love being part of their fun and active home. I'm currently being fostered with a three other foster dogs. I love all the activity and attention, and adore kids of all ages.

I walk well on leash, love every dog and person I meet, and share my toys and treats with ease. Her only challenge with me has been that I like to run free and explore when someone opens the front door. After a few neighborhood expeditions, my foster family has started teaching me to sit and wait at the door. I'm still a work in progress, but my foster mom says I'm getting better. Once I'm in my permanent home and trust that it's forever, I won't even want to leave anymore... especially if you have a nice big back yard for me to run and play in.

I came to MMR from Tennessee, and my previous family had me since I was just a little puppy. I was returned because my family didn'€™t have a fenced in yard and said I would chase the neighboring dogs and other critters, then run off property. I'm just your typical fun-loving terrier and we love to chase things: squirrels, balls, other dogs – I'll chase anything that moves! So, I can'€™t be left alone outside without being on leash or in a fenced yard, but that's the rule with most dogs. I am just better at chasing things than they are.

MMR is looking for a family with elementary school-aged children (or older), a fun loving family, and an open heart to welcome me into their lives. I enjoy leash walks and would like at least one every day. I just need you to make sure I am always on a leash or in a fenced yard so my love of chasing doesn't get me in trouble.

If you want the same things out of life that I do, like friendship, a home of my own, and the love of a family, please fill out an application to begin the approval process!

From Tiger's foster daddy. Tiger as been here since Saturday April 19. Tiger is more than the sum of his parts. Looking at a photo of this dog or calling him a Terrier in no way can describe how amazing this dog is. If you had to rely on his photo to decide if he is the right match for you YOU WOULD BE MISSING OUT! Do not blame me if you miss out having this dog cuddle next to you!
