Dough Boy, fondly called "Dobie"€ is fabulous dog who is as wonderful as he is handsome. He is a 6 year old, 12 pound, Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix. Playful, cuddly, funny, and appreciative are all words that describe Dobie. Dobie enjoys playing with toys and has yet to find one he doesn't like! He is always up for a walk, as he loves meeting new people, especially children, along the way. Dobie needs a active family that has some dog experience as he gets very excited with other dogs on the walk.  He is fine once he meets other dogs and currently lives with three other foster dogs.  Dobie is fully house trained, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives and ready to find his forever home!

Some are foster dogs placed in our care by different rescue groups.  Each dog may have a different process for adopting animals and charge different adoption fees.

You may be called by a volunteer, you may receive an email asking additional information or you may be requested to complete and Additional Information form. Please look our emails for further information.  We are all volunteers so we will get to you as soon as we can.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions.  We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
