Hi, my name is Carrie.  I got lost and ended up spending several nights outside in below freezing temperature. This nice man who works with MMR, saved me-even though I was scared of him at first, he is really a good person.  He tried and tried to find my owners, but no one came forward.  He called phone numbers, looked up people, posted flyers, checked for a microchip, and reported me to the county. I guess they didn't want to be found.  I look like a / Terrier mix, weighing about 15 Lbs. I am around a year and a half old. I am house trained, social, playful, happy, funny, and love to cuddle. I have liked every dog I have met, and love to play. I am, up to date with vaccinations, spayed, loved and now ready to find a new family.

 

My adoption fee is $350, which covers the cost of routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, my microchip, monthly heartworm prevention, monthly flea/tick prevention, and any transport costs if applicable.

Dogs listed here come from different sources Some dog's owner have passed and their family could not care for their companion, some lifestyle has changed and a new home would be in the best interest of their companion. Some are foster dogs placed in our care by different rescue groups.  Each dog may have a different process for adopting animals and charge different adoption fees.

You may be called by a volunteer, you may receive an email asking additional information or you may be requested to complete and Additional Information form. Please look our emails for further information.  We are all volunteers so we will get to you as soon as we can.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions.  We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
