Ears and legs and legs and ears Apollo the Shepard / Hound mix has no shortage of long deer-like legs and big floppy ears. These ears frame his perpetually furrowed brow giving him the appearance of an elder statesman contemplating world problems. This impression is false. Apollo is VERY PUPPY and forgets everything when he hears a squeaky toy. He love all toys with and without squeakers. Apollo’s birthday is March 25 2018. He weighs 75 pounds and is close to his adult weight, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped ,and neutered. He is his house trained and crate trained. Apollo walks well on a leash, is eager and willing to please, treat-motivated, intelligent, loveable, and affectionate. He likes lounging on couches and always gets his head on a pillow. He is not bothered by thunder storms. He does well with other dogs of all sizes. Apollo has been gentle with small children and infants but should be with children 10 years old or older. Dogs listed here come from different sources Some dog's owner have passed and their family could not care for their companion, some lifestyle has changed and a new home would be in the best interest of their companion. Some are foster dogs placed in our care by different rescue groups. Each dog may have a different process for adopting animals and charge different adoption fees.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions. We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
