ROCKY'S WEBPAGE http://hals.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=13129255 WE WILL ONLY PLACE ROCKY WITH A ONE HOUR DRIVE FROM ROCKVILLE MD (NO EXCEPTIONS see below*) Rocky IS A PUPPY at 10 month old and house-trained. He is a neutered male Bernedoodle (Bernese mountain/standard poodle). He will be looking for an adult only or grown children only home with a fence adequate to confine a LARGE DOG. Rocky is currently a BIG PUPPY he will likely me a HUGE DOG and would not likely do well in an apartment. Rocky is not the dog for a new dog owner or if you have not owned your own dog within the last five years. He is about 92 lbs now and could grow to 130 pounds -+. He is very affectionate, goofy and lazy, but unfortunately he is fearful around young children. He has been great with other dogs NO CATS Rocky will require a LARGE FENCED YARD WITH ROOM TO RUN AND A FENCE TALL ENOUGH TO CONFINE A HUGE DOG. All dogs place by us we do home visits with the dog. Sometime we do more that one visit. We have found this leads to more successful placements. If you live within one hour of Rockville MD we would be more that pleased consider you for this dog or help you find the perfect soul dog for your family. You may be called by a volunteer, you may receive an email asking additional information or you may be requested to complete and Additional Information form. Please look our emails for further information. We are all volunteers so we will get to you as soon as we can.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions. We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
