Beni is about a one year old American Bulldog.  Beni was bought by a young man that was unable to keep him.  He ended up with a nice lady that just had to help.  She took him in and had him neutered.  Keeping Beni was not a plan but his prospects looked bleak she could not allow him to just go to the shelter.  Beni was living with four other dogs, two cats, horses, and a flock of wild geese that hung around the farm.  Home At Last Sanctuary has offered to assist in finding an appropriate home.  Beni is up to date with all of his vaccinations, Canine Influenza Bivalent Vaccine and Bordetella canine.  We are still getting to understand who he is and what is behavior is. He is house trained. We will update this information as we find out.

Beni has been walked in public, he is friendly and affectionate with every human any age and he is very gentle with toddlers.  He has live with cats and does well meeting every dog so far even little tiny dogs.  Beni is still very puppy like playful and curious.

Some are foster dogs placed in our care by different rescue groups.  Each dog may have a different process for adopting animals and charge different adoption fees.

You may be called by a volunteer, you may receive an email asking additional information or you may be requested to complete and Additional Information form. Please look our emails for further information.  We are all volunteers so we will get to you as soon as we can.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions.  We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
