Teddy is ADOPTED! a 2 1/2 year old Pug / Yorkshire terrier mix; a “Porkie”!?  Teddy’s family was no longer able to care for him, and he was fostered by a lovely senior lady who wanted to rehome him. He is a healthy, happy, energetic, playful dog who simply proved to be too much for his 81 year old foster.  He is neutered, affectionate, house-trained and up-to-date with vaccinations.  Home At Last Sanctuary has placed Teddy with a foster.  If you are interested in fostering or adopting Teddy let us know. He has just arrived. We will update his description.

Some are foster dogs placed in our care by different rescue groups.  Each dog may have a different process for adopting animals and charge different adoption fees.

You may be called by a volunteer, you may receive an email asking additional information or you may be requested to complete and Additional Information form. Please look our emails for further information.  We are all volunteers so we will get to you as soon as we can.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions.  We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
