Justice will ONLY be adopted in the Metro-Washington DC area.

This GORGEOUS, purebred Standard Poodle is just 22 months old and weighs 60 pounds. He was finally freed from his backyard breeder. He is ready to start his new life in a loving home. Justice is extremely smart, as most poodles are.  He wants to learn and will do most anything to please his people, or for a treat.  He is very sweet, but still a bit shy.  His new family must commit to socialization and exercise for Justice.  While he is beautiful, his breed was bred for fieldwork, and he requires outdoor walks and exercise daily.  He is happy to hang out with his people and other dogs inside the home, too.  Once he is on a regular walk and exercise schedule, he will know when it is time for play, walks, or hanging out with the family. This breed is also fond of the water, so swimming in the summer months is another exercise option for Justice.

 Justice has been fully vetted, neutered, and is heart worm negative.  He has been given much needed baths, and received a professional grooming.  The family or individual who adopts Justice, must commit to having him professionally groomed every 6-8 weeks.  While his breed is a non shedding one, he will require brushing/combing a minimum of once a week.  His grooming needs are not optional, and they will be part of his adoption contract.  Please take into consideration the additional time commitment for exercise, as well as the financial commitment for grooming that Justice will require BEFORE you apply to adopt him. Dogs listed here come from different sources Some dog's owner have passed and their family could not care for their companion, some lifestyle has changed and a new home would be in the best interest of their companion. Some are foster dogs placed in our care by different rescue groups.  Each dog may have a different process for adopting animals and charge different adoption fees.

Please complete the Application Short Form (link above)  Your information will be reviewed and you will be advised the next step.  If the dog you applied for is a match based on this information you will asked to provide Additional Information or directed to complete the Adoption Application from the Rescue Group that has placed the companion in our care.

You may be called by a volunteer, you may receive an email asking additional information or you may be requested to complete and Additional Information form. Please look our emails for further information.  We are all volunteers so we will get to you as soon as we can.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions.  We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
